Cam Craft specializes in providing high-precision wood cutting services using advanced CNC routers. A CNC (Computer Numerical Control) router is a motorized machine equipped with a spindle that moves along designated paths to accurately cut and shape various profiles from wood and other materials. The process begins with digital drawings that are translated into coded instructions, which are then fed into the CNC router for execution. While many people associate precision cutting with laser technology, Cam Craft’s approach relies on spindle-driven cutting as opposed to lasers, water jets, or plasma cutters, offering a unique method with its own advantages.
Cam Craft serves a wide range of industries, catering to the specific needs of each client. Over the years, the company has built an extensive and diverse customer base, including architects, naval architects, artists, framers, interior designers, industrial designers, film production companies, set builders, joiners, shopfitters, and large franchises, among others. Whether the project is large-scale or requires intricate detail, Cam Craft has the expertise and capacity to meet both high-volume and custom orders, delivering precision and quality on every job.
Oonie helped CAMCRAFT develop 3 complimentary sites, one for each arm of their business. The site had to be mobile friendly, but in accordance with the brief, would essentially function as a shopfront. As much of their work is custom design, traffic was routed to the business directly.
